First Aid for your Grandchildren

posted November 19th 2018

Would you know what to do if you grandchild was hurt or stopped breathing? Horrible things to think about but we do need to think about it.

Our friend Sarah runs classes all about this, here she tells us a bit more…

‘Hi, I’m Sarah from ABC Save a Life First Aid Training Company

I deliver among my other first aid courses, baby and children’s first aid to parents, grand-parents and parents-to-be and guardians.

My courses cover Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), recovery position, choking, nosebleeds, meningitis and sepsis. I also check if there is a personal topic that anyone attending my baby first aid course would like to know about or learn more about, perhaps a medical condition their child might have.

If your grandchild was choking, would you know what to do to remove the object? I can teach you to use back blows to help remove the object. When to call an ambulance or seek advice from a professional.

Our baby first aid courses are aimed to deliver new skills in first aid or to enhance pre-existing skills, which need refreshing.

Visit our website or visit us on Facebook.

We look forward to hearing from

If you can attend a class like Sarah’s that’s great and in the meantime, Sarah shares with us her CPR advice for an unresponsive child.
