A family run business and home to over 200 animals and birds of prey, with an emphasis on encouraging all our visitors to get up close with our birds and animals.
We have interactive displays and keeper including meet and handle our owls, pat a pet, flying displays, groom our donkeys, animal and critter displays, have a go at flying an owl, shire horse talk and so much more.
Plus there’s a range of non-animal activities to keep the whole family entertained throughout the day including:
Herrings Pirates’ Cove play area, Crazy Golf, Tractor and Trailer Rides, our Craft barn, Tyre Trails, Barrel Rides as well as lovely tea room serving a variety of hot and cold food, drinks, cakes and treats.
With an amazing team of friendly and experienced staff Herrings Farm gives you a memorable day out for the whole family. All activities are included in the general admission prices, there’s no need to pre-book just come along and join in the fun.
** FEBRUARY HALF TERM **
Join us for some ANIMAL MADNESS this February Half Term! We have lots going on for the whole family to enjoy!
Meet and handle the owls, pat a pet with our giant continental rabbits and squeaky guinea pigs, watch our twice daily flying displays, alpaca walks, reptile encounters, groom the donkeys, have a go at flying a hawk, animal and critter displays, have go at flying an owl, spring crafts, slime making and so much more!
10.30 – Meet and handle the owls.
11.00 – Pat a pet, meet our rabbits and guinea pigs.
11.30 – Flying display, see our birds in action.
12.30 – Have a go at flying a hawk.
1.00 – Animal and critter show, meet different species of reptiles, snakes, mammals and creepy crawlies.
1.30 – Have a go at flying a owl.
2.30 – Flying display.
3.00 – Walk with Alpacas.
3.30 – Meet and handle a hawk or eagle.
4.00 – Meet the donkeys.
All of the above activities are included in the admission.
For an additional £2.00 per child we are also running slime making workshops, plus we have lots of spring crafts available including pottery painting, colouring and so much more!
No need to pre-book tickets just come along on the day and join in the fun.
Children are aged 3 – 15 years old.
