If you’re looking for a fun day out for all the family, then The Royal Yacht Britannia is the perfect choice!
Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family for over 40 years, sailing one million miles around the world. Now berthed in Edinburgh’s historic port of Leith, Britannia is a fascinating visitor attraction and also one of the UK’s most prestigious event venues.
Step aboard to see where Prince Charles and Princess Diana honeymooned and Liz Taylor, Frank Sinatra and Presidents Reagan, Mandela and Gorbachev were wined and dined. Follow in the footsteps of Royalty where Prince William and Prince Harry spent their summer holidays.
There are five main decks to explore with a fascinating audio-tour included in the ticket price, as well as a version for children. Each deck is highly accessible for buggies and wheelchairs.
The Royal Deck Tea Room serves delicious home-made soups and sandwiches and there are cakes and milkshakes for the little ones, or even a glass of chilled Champagne for adults. Take in the stunning waterfront views as you enjoy tea or lunch aboard.
The Royal Yacht Britannia is a fantastic child-friendly attraction with baby changing facilities, high chairs and bottle warming facilities as well as free car parking in Ocean Terminal.
Looking to entertain the grandchildren in 2019? Come and spot our cuddly corgis hiding around Britannia. Clarence the corgi is back and the whole family can join in so keep a look out and, at the end of your tour, receive a badge and enter our prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a small prize. Don’t forget to upload a selfie with our cuddly corgis as we will be running our #CorgiSelfie competition to find the best picture. Pop your picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and you could be in with a chance of winning a box of our delicious Britannia fudge.
