Winner of Leicestershire’s “Best Visitor Attraction”
Follow the fun Quiz Trail through 8 acres of living maize and sunflower crop. Find and collect clues hidden amongst the 3 miles of pathways. There are also high-level bridges and viewing towers giving stunning 3D panoramic views of the giant maze and beautiful surrounding countryside.
To mark the 50th Anniversary of the ‘First Man on the Moon’, this year the maze has been designed in the shape of an Astronaut, and the quiz trail will be themed on other historic first achievements.
The maze includes an Activity Funyard packed with mini mazes and games for all the family, including hoopla, bean bag throwing, space hopper track, football shooting game and much more, which can be played on before or after entering the giant maze.
Opposite the maze is the Wistow Rural Centre with a cafe/bistro, garden centre, art gallery, Mediterranean deli, model village with trains and many more shops selling jewellery, furniture and gifts galore, making it a fun day out for all ages.
School and office outings are both popular, and there is an Education Pack available.
Each year the maze is redesigned using GPS satellite technology and at the end of the season is harvested and fed to the cows!
